How to protect your wrap?
Consider applying Paint Protection film on top of the Vinyl to protect it from rock chips or scratches. With ceramic coating on top of your wrap, you can protect it from fading and enhance its color, giving it a deeper look.
Our Services
According to one of the industry-leading vinyl manufacturers, 3M, a vehicle wrap is a colored graphic film that is applied directly to your vehicle by a graphics installer. It’s an easy way to add accents to your vehicle or change the color completely. The best part of a wrap is that it’s not permanent. You can change the wrap on your vehicle periodically to always give your car a “New-Car-Look”.
While vinyl wrap does not provide the same level of protection as PPF (Paint Protection Film), it certainly protects your paint. It forms a barrier between the paint and damages like bird droppings, automatic car washes, chemicals, and light scratches.
Starting with installation time, vinyl wrap can be installed considerably quicker than a paint job. For a full vehicle wrap, it takes on average 3 to 5 days to wrap a sedan
compared to weeks to complete a paint job. Cost-wise, a professional paint job can cost you $5000-$8000 for a sedan, while a professional wrap job will only cost you $2000-$3500 for the same size. Not to mention, satin and matte paint jobs are more expensive to complete, but it will not cost you extra if you choose matte or satin wrap.
It is always recommended to have the car body fixed before wrapping the car. Rust and scratches will affect the wrap job significantly as they tend to leave air where the rust and scratches are. With flawless paint, the wrap can last much longer than if there are defects present.
On average, a sedan would take 4 to 5 days to wrap, and a little longer for SUVs and trucks. The installation time may vary according to the level of complexity.
With proper technique and equipment, vinyl wrap removal will not harm the original factory paint. We would recommend visiting us or any professional wrap shop to have your wrap removed professionally to avoid any potential damage.
On average, you can expect the vinyl to last between 5-7 years depending on the finish and maintenance.
